Taking Advice From People…
“Don’t take advice from anyone who isn’t living the life you want to live.”
I read this quote about a year ago and wish I had heard it much sooner. It really struck a chord with me.
The best way to reach a goal in life is to find someone that has already reached that goal themselves and then model them. It really is as simple as that.
When Arnold Schwarzennegger wanted to become the best bodybuilder in the world, he found guys like Reg Park, Chet Yorton, and Steve Reeves and then EMULATED THEM.
He researched them. He followed their diets. He found out how they got so big. He even went to the extent of meeting them in person and interviewed them. Arnold did whatever it took to learn from guys that were living the life he wanted.
What happened? He eventually became Mr. Universe as a result.
Notice he didn’t just go to some guy that was knowledgeable about nutrition and knew in theory how to build an awesome body, he went to guys that were the result of what he wanted.
Lets relate this to learning how to become better with women. Most guys make the mistake of continually going out with guys who are not really helping them get better with women. Often times they’re unqualified to be giving out any advice whatsoever, but do so to cover up their own inability to get women themselves.
They’re usually the guys that are constantly giving you advice on how you should open women, proper body language, theory, and they point out girls and tell you to how you should approach them, yet they don’t have quality women in their lives.
Is that the kind of guy you want to emulate and take advice from?
Do whatever it takes to go out with quality guys that have the life you want or at least have lived the life you want. The point is to find at least one mentor that knows what the fuck he is doing and whom you can trust to give you solid advice.
